Process Engineering has years of experience within power plants, refineries and the offshore sector. Moreover, we are involved in green projects where we use known processes in a new context in the development of projects and technologies. We are a part of Triangle Energy Alliance and Energy Cluster Denmark
We are a part of the partnership Triangle Energy Alliance where we work with seven municipalities and 16 companies to make the Triangle Region a Northern European powerhouse for the production of green and sustainable energy. Also, we are a part of Energy Cluster Denmark where we work on accelerating the green transition and CO2 reduction by developing new world-leading technological solutions across energy areas and through sector coupling.
Process Engineering offers planning, detail engineering, official approval, preparation of tender material, purchasing, technical inspection, CE marking and commissioning of productional and auxiliary facilities within e.g. the power plant sector, refineries and the offshore industry. We have also serviced biogas companies and other green energy projects through many years.
Our knowhow includes pressure equipment such as boilers, steam turbines, pumps, pipe systems incl. instrumentation (PI diagram), pipe supports, bearing steel and galleries, heat treatment plants, component refrigeration plants, compressed air plants, cranes, plants and systems for combustion air, flue gas, transport and storage of fuels and residues.
We optimise new as well as existing plants in terms of technical and economic conditions. This includes construction prices and the total investment.
We offer consultancy within all the processes of a biogas plant. Our services include drafting and calculation of pipe systems and tanks, safety coordination during construction as well as ATEX and CE marking. Moreover, we handle the preparation of the applications to the authorities regarding establishment of new facilities and extension of existing facilities.
Over the years we have worked on a wide range of projects with a sustainable perspective. In a number of projects we have, for instance, worked with energy savings such as in connection with a number of heat pump projects with participation in the partly EUDP-funded development project Power2Met, which was the first project in Denmark that succeeded in producing eMethanol outside the laboratory. In such projects we handle Conceptual Design, Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering and we are also responsible for technical procurement and start-up supervision.
Our knowledge of technologies, systems and plants for production of heat and electricity is comprehensive. We possess competences in planning, layout, official approval, calculation, drafting, specification, detail engineering, construction, optimisation, preparation of tender material, procurement, technical inspection, documentation, CE marking and commissioning of productional and auxiliary facilities at power plants.

We optimise new as well as existing plants where it concerns to technical and economic conditions. This includes construction prices and the total investment, forecasts for the heating market, electricity and expenses related to operation and maintenance.
The projects range from planning of turnarounds and inspections to design of various equipment such as end plates in distillation columns and heat exchangers and include also risk assessments and construction supervision.
In relation to operation optimisations to do with the mechanical side of things, we focus on pipes, pumps, valves and equipment such as containers, exchangers, columns and instruments. At the same time we plan the mechanical issues while focusing on planned maintenance, working instructions and descriptions, drafts and documentation, including clarification together with the supervision, where we involve the crew.
In verification cases concerning existing equipment and installation control of new equipment we focus on preparing verification applications, documentation for installation control and on securing an occupation permit from a notified body.
This takes place in close cooperation with the inspection department, the person responsible for the technical system and the person responsible for the technical area and operation.
Our competences include project management, design of pipe installations in relation to the international standards, stress-strain analysis and pipe design, construction of steel and structures, document management and inspection/FAT.
We use a number of constructional systems in our work such as Plant 3D, AutoPlant and PDMS, Triflex, Rohr2 and Caesar II software, AutoCAD, Inventor and FEM/FEA analysis.
