Project at Fertin Pharma about a Conceptual Design of an upgrade of a talcum dosing plant for pellet production in order to utilise the entire pellet extruder capacity and reduce talcum waste.
The process
Based on a review of the existing process plant and Fertin Pharma’s operation experiences, we focused on how to increase capacity and reduce talcum waste in the plant by means of simple measures.
Process Engineering performed Conceptual Design with proposals for improvements of the talcum plant (incl. prices) to increase capacity and reduce waste. In collaboration with Fertin Pharma we selected a number of improvements for implementation in a subsequent project.
