Each year Danmarks Indsamling focuses on helping people in some of the world’s poorest countries. Again this year, Process Engineering is involved when Denmark shows its big heart and supports children who are fleeing.
“We have a shared responsibility for the world that we live in – also as a company. This is why Process Engineering has supported Danmarks Indsamling through several years. To us it’s important to make every effort we can to make a difference,” says CEO Poul B. Jakobsen.
We must stand together in the fight to strengthen the UN Sustainable Development Goals
When Danmarks Indsamling is broadcast on TV on February 1 it will focus on helping children who are fleeing. We need to reach out more children than ever before. The UN estimates that more than 35 million children are forced to flee from their homes because of climate change, war and persecution.
The 12 humanitarian organisations behind Danmarks Indsamling are working together to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals about eliminating poverty, putting a stop to hunger, increasing health and well-being and ensuring quality education, clean water and sanitation. Process Engineering takes part in this battle.
“We have a shared responsibility to stand together and help people in need. So it’s very important for us to support Danmarks Indsamling year after year. We must stand together and make a difference,” says Poul B. Jakobsen, and adds:
“To us it’s natural to work with the Sustainable Development Goals in our business, and that’s why we also support projects that aim to strengthen the individual Sustainable Development Goals.”
Process Engineering’s staff are proud of contributing to the good cause and joining the community to make a difference.
