2019 is about to end and Process Engineering’s staff look back on a year with plenty of activities. We started the year with a new, ambitious strategy, which meant that we focused strongly on realising the first initiatives in the strategy.
In the beginning of the year we established our business space in the Copenhagen department, and at the same time we took our first steps into foreign activities with the opening of the office in Oslo.
The last half of the year saw many nominations and awards. We were elected as Great Place to Work for the second time, we obtained a 22nd place on the list of Denmark’s Best Workplaces for medium-sized businesses, we were awarded a fifth Gazelle, we were nominated as a Success Business and nominated in EY Entrepreneur of the Year and Owner of the Year, in which Poul B. Jakobsen won the Award of the Year in the region of South Jutland. The company had existed for 20 years, which we celebrated with a trip to Hamburg for all our employees.
Our most recent initiative was the expansion of the business areas Food & Biotech with “Slaughter and Fresh Meat”, where we aim to increase our focus on the handling of foods that are not liquid. That meant changes in our organisation. Michael Hastrup Andersen, who was the Head of department at the Aarhus office was appointed as the Head of Section for Food & Biotech. Further changes followed in the organisation in the following year.
We look forward to 2021 and wish you and your loved ones a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
