Focus on Food & Biotech with new Director of Section

From November 1 Head of department Michael Hastrup Andersen is appointed as Process Engineering’s Director of the Section for Food & Biotech. This happens as a part of the 2023 strategy for growth with, for instance, an increased focus on the industries in order to further develop these business areas.

Since 2016, Michael has been the Head of department in Aarhus. In total 15 people are employed at the office in Aarhus, and Michael continues in his role as Head of department while being appointed as Director of Section of Food & Biotech.

Targeted focus on Food & Biotech

With the 2023 strategy for growth, the market approach has changed into an industry-oriented model within various sections such as food & biotech. In recent years, we have experienced great growth rates within food & biotech, and the increased growth has placed new demands on sales and settlement.

“In the future customers will benefit from greater industry knowledge in the sales phase and a continued high level of experience within Process Engineering’s consultancy services, which will be expanded with ‘tools’ for, for instance, project execution and Good Engineering Practice. We’ll develop the section going forward, and some of the plan has already been implemented with the addition of Slaughter and Fresh meat,” says Michael Hastrup Andersen.

Not only Denmark

The market approach within food & biotech is not limited to customers in Denmark. The targeted focus goes beyond the borders, and the foreign activities are a part of Process Engineering’s strategy for growth.
